Business Development Manager

 

Description:

To identify and develop new relationships, and maintain, deepen, and broaden existing relationships with key distributors in an assigned territory.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and broaden relationships with directly authorised IFAs. Gather thorough understanding of the philosophy and dynamics within these organisations.
  • Drive results by raising awareness of Vanguard's mutual funds (multi-asset, active, ESG & MPS) & ETFs through targeted prospecting activities including but not limited to cold calling, virtual meetings, targeted mailings, hosting seminars, and attendance at industry conferences. Face to face meetings with advisors where needed.
  • Acts as a trusted adviser/consultant in matching adviser needs with Vanguard products and services. Educates advisers on the benefits of Vanguard and our product offerings.
  • Responsible for achieving regional sales targets; achieves sales and sales activity goals within the spirit of Vanguard's Code of Ethics.
  • Create and execute a business plan.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory environment and ensures that Vanguard operates in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate and provides insight and direction to internal partners.
  • Lead in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
