Business Development Manager

 

Description:

Our client is looking for a driven and tenacious Business Development Executive that has a proven track record in overachieving sales targets and KPIs. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively selling their eCOS solutions product into their existing client base, as well as identifying opportunities for new business.

The role will be to effectively identify businesses requirements and then demonstrate the products and services to clients that will offer them an impactful solution.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Expanding the business unit’s client base by contacting existing and new clients through cold calling, LinkedIn and email outreach
  • Liaise with Account Manager’s and Business Development Managers about potential leads and opportunities.
  • Effectively demonstrate product and solutions to clients, ensuring that product sales are fully scoped for successful delivery.
  • Analyse client feedback for best practice solution / product functionality
  • Become your client’s solutions specialist, building strong lasting relationships
  • Create and deliver external training for clients and other stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience -

  • Proven experience within a dynamic customer focused role.
  • Able to self-source leads and work effectively with existing data.
  • Act as a subject matter expert. Build deep product and industry knowledge.
  • Be consultative, and a customer support contact for clients.
  • Ability to communicate complex product technicalities to clients, account management, sales, and the rest of the business.
  • Demonstrable analytical and pragmatic approach with the ability to communicate product intricacies and troubleshooting solutions clearly and concisely.
  • Strong communicator verbally and in writing, with keen listening skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of selling solutions software applications, with a keen ability to distinguish sales objections from change management challenges
