As a Business Development Manager – Composite Materials, you will be responsible for growing our business in the Advanced Materials sector across the UK. The primary offerings are Autoclave and Controls solutions and services for use in the manufacture of composite materials.

You will ensure that high-quality, value-adding solutions are offered to customers, in terms of aftersales support, warranty packages and control system integration and optimisation solutions.

Personally develop business plans and market strategies to encourage targeted growth through effective planning, performance monitoring and personal training and development.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Understand and segment the target markets for composite materials manufacture in the UK, developing business plans and the go-to-market strategy that will achieve growth objectives
• Proactively generate new business opportunities using marketing qualified leads, digital marketing and through their own initiative
• Work in conjunction with the Technical and Engineering team, developing high-value proposals, following up, negotiating, and winning new business orders in the target market segments and customers through direct personal sales activity
• Provide regular visit reports and a monthly forecast of business opportunities
