Spectrum IT has partnered with a multi award winning SAAS/IAAS startup company who have a unique product which solves one of the most common issues in the busy hospitality industry. Since their foundation during the covid pandemic they've grown to a client base of 650+ restaurants, bars, hotels and have streamlined their BD process via Meta ads and Pipedrive CRM to ensure a constant flow of warm leads coming into the business. The role of business development manager will be to manage these leads through a sales pipeline and product demos to convert them into paying customers and part of the growing client base.

Responsibilities & skills

  • A willingness to learn & grow with a small business/startup
  • Sales, marketing, or business degree ideally 2:1 or higher
  • Ideally 2+ years in a sales/business development role
  • A strong understanding of sales pipelines and how to convert leads into paying customers
  • Knowledge of marketing or social media advertising via platforms such as Canva
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Confident in speaking with customers and an ability to lead product demonstrations

Beneficial skills/experience

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a successful sales pipeline
  • Track record of meeting sales targets in a previous BDM/Sales role
  • Knowledge or experience in hospitality industry
