Business Development Manager

 

Description:

We are looking for candidates with previous sales experience within a recognised food or drink supplier (hot or cold beverage exposure would be Ideal). Full P&L exposure is not essential but would be of benefit. Examples of hunting and winning new listings on behalf of an FMCG brand is key!

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Take ownership for the customer development agenda (new and existing relationships)
  • Maintain and update customer account plans to deliver company growth objectives.
  • Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly sales forecasts – working with supply chain & finance
  • Work with marketing & category to deliver new product launch plans (distribution, display, turnover targets)
  • Assist with promotional programs, ensuring promotions are communicated, forecasted, delivered, and then evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Work with category & marketing to drive customer range review delivery, and post review evaluation & future recommendations
  • Defend & retain existing business, as appropriate within the wider business strategy.
