We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our clients growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the wealth management sector, with a strong network of advisory firms and asset managers. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s success in promoting and distributing financial products to a sophisticated and professional clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive client acquisition and business growth globally
- Leverage existing relationships and networks to onboard new clients, with a focus on Financial Advisory Firms and Asset Managers.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote and distribute the company’s financial products.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Represent the company at industry events, and conferences
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure tailored financial solutions meet client needs.
- Track and report on performance metrics, ensuring OTE targets are met or exceeded.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a sales in a B2B role within the financial services sector.
- Previous experience working in a wealth management company, with a proven ability to procure and manage clients.
- Demonstrated expertise in promoting and distributing financial products to advisory firms, asset managers and private family offices.
- A robust professional network and a strong "black book" of clients that can be brought to the role.
- A degree in financial services or relevant financial services qualifications is preferred.
