Description:
A leading UK-based independent provider of Security, Life Safety, and Conflict Management Systems is actively seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This high-impact role is geared towards individuals with a strong background in CCTV, Fire Systems, and Access Control, who are looking to take their career to the next level.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying and developing new client relationships, tailoring proposals, and expanding the company’s market presence. The role focuses on winning new business and achieving growth objectives by exceeding new logo acquisition targets. You will collaborate with project managers and IT support staff to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions to clients across the UK.
This is a remote position with regular travel to client sites and occasional visits to the company’s Mansfield HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential clients across various industries
Develop customised solutions and proposals tailored to client needs
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to secure long-term contracts
Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline
Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance goals
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including project managers and IT teams
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the CCTV, Fire Systems, or Access Control sectors
Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding business development and sales targets
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with a consultative sales approach
