Compliance Consultant UK is seeking a Business Development Manager – Regulatory Compliance to lead and execute strategic business growth initiatives across the UK’s financial regulatory consulting landscape. As a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy, Compliance Consultant UK works with financial services and fintech firms to reimagine how compliance can drive innovation and performance. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of FCA, PRA, SMCR, AML, and MiFID frameworks, coupled with consultative sales expertise and high-value partnership building.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute strategic business development plans targeting ideal clients.
Convert qualified leads into long-term, high-value client relationships.
Craft tailored proposals that reframe compliance challenges as strategic opportunities.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and commercialize new offerings.
Cultivate trust with executive stakeholders and influence board-level compliance strategies.
Represent the company in industry events, contributing to marketing and thought leadership.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline, tracking KPIs and deal progression via CRM systems.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in BD roles focused on UK regulatory compliance.
Proven record of generating £250k+ in annual consultative sales revenue.
Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, SMCR, MiFID, AML).
Holds QCF Level 4+ qualifications (e.g., ICA, CISI, DipFA).
Established network of senior compliance decision-makers.
Proactive, strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
