Business Enablement Communications Manager

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced communications professional to join the Enterprise Technology CE team in a permanent role, based either in the US or UK (where other members of the team are based, although all work remotely).
The importance of technology to EY is no secret. Our NextWave strategy makes it very clear that technology and data are key to unlocking revenue and driving our purpose of building a better working world. Enterprise Technology (ET) plays a critical role in turning this vision to reality as the enablers of the technology that power EY’s work. Through showcasing how ET’s services, platforms and products come together to deliver an exceptional technology experience, we enable all EY people globally to connect and work seamlessly and help to transform the business of EY through technology.
In this role, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders in Enterprise Technology including the Service Adoption team (the business change function driving technology adoption with end users) and ET’s leadership team who play the role of ET’s governance board to challenge, review and approve communication campaigns deployed globally across EY.
You will be responsible for driving the process and strategy for ET’s outbound communications, aligned to business objectives that demonstrate the value ET brings to EY as a technology driven organization. You will be an advocate for technology and change, with a data-driven mindset – able to adjust strategies and tactics based on data insights to achieve greater results.
You will be a critical thinker with the ability to understand the end user experience and how to translate technical language into layman’s terms that is intuitive for a global audience. You will also need to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
Your key responsibilities

  • Lead a content and channel strategy for ET’s outbound communications, partnering closely with Service Adoption to align on communication campaigns that drive awareness, understanding and action with end users of changes to EY technology.
  • Own the process for ET’s outbound communications and governance framework to support how all of ET communicates as a single function.
  • Build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders from Product Managers, ET leadership, ET business functions and Global/Area BMC teams.
  • Provide BMC guidance (with the ability to apply critical thinking) on outbound communication campaigns and deployments to ensure consistency and clarity of message, value proposition and visual identity.
  • Maintain and update BMC toolkits; firstly, the toolkit Service Adoption use to access branded templates and core messaging on ET’s narrative; and secondly the Global BMC technology toolkits.
  • Lead the development of quarterly ET Impact Reports to showcase business successes, the scale of the work managed by ET and the value it brings to EY.
  • Manage reporting in Power BI to track deployment and metrics for all ET outbound communications

Skills and attributes for success

  • Excellent communication and networking skills – able to effectively manage and influence across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strategic and process driven – embracing a data-driven mindset to achieve greater results.
  • Knowledge of EY, BMC, and the Executive layer functions.
  • A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently.
  • Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment.
  • Executive presence and gravitas.
