Business Intelligence Analyst

Huge opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Analytics specialist to set up reporting for this market leading manufacturing company.

Initially you’ll business partner the accounting / finance team to provide its reporting, then longer term your role will expand into other areas of the business.

In the future the business will use Salesforce for reporting, analytics and forecasting and select other tools which could be Tableau or MuleSoft or another tool and you’ll contribute to the selection. Currently BI is produced with SSRS and the ERP solution.

As part of the IT Innovation team, you’ll be the business champion for reporting and data analysis, identifying, prioritising and delivering Business Intelligence and business reporting.

Working directly with stakeholders and bringing ideas for improvements, you will capture demand & requirements then create reports and dashboards.

You’ll help with decision making by delivering insightful and meaningful reports in an easy to understand way with impactful data visualisation and dashboards. There is a BI Developer in the team so development won’t be part of your role.

We’d like to hear from you if you have BI / data / reporting experience and have:

·       Provided reports / data for accounting / finance teams OR have a good understanding of the operations, challenges and needs of a finance dept.

·       Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders ( the business, customers and vendors ) at all levels.

·       Would like to work with the new reporting tools as they’re introduced such as Salesforce / tableau

·       A great problem solver, solution provider and idea generator

·       SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Tool) is beneficial or similar to join tables and extract data.
