Business Intelligence Apprentice

Description:

You will service our UK General Insurance Claims function with timely, accurate, management information. You will gain experience in the collection, analysis and visualisation of data allowing Claims to make data driven decisions. Additionally, you may support UKGI Claims through the maintenance and refresh of manual reporting with a view to automate and provide self-serve solutions through Qlik. You will also monitor the Qlik task schedules for issues and coordinate issue resolution, whilst contributing to a risk aware culture ensuring Aviva data governance and data standard methodologies are adhered to.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Background in reporting using Excel or alternative product. Ability to read SQL or equivalent preferable
• Strong numeracy skills with an analytical mindset and exposure to data manipulation
• Passionate learner with the ability to pick up technical skills at pace
• Well organised with a strong work ethic and a problem solver through logical thinking
• Degree in computer science or another quantitative field is desirable. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree
