Gallagher, a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk management, is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join its Retail Operations team in Glasgow. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving operational excellence, facilitating organizational change, and supporting colleagues through impactful tools and processes.
As a Business Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in creating and developing operational processes to support continuous improvement and organizational change. You will support and lead operational initiatives, provide guidance during acquisitions to align with "The Gallagher Way," and build strong connections across the Retail Business and Central functions to ensure collaboration in decision-making.
You will also be responsible for working closely with Business Quality Assurance (BQA) to implement improvements identified through audits, while developing expertise in key centralized activities and ensuring adherence to Consumer Duty principles. Continuous personal and professional development is strongly encouraged, as you will be expected to support both your own learning and the education of your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance operational processes to facilitate change and improvement.
Support and engage in projects that deliver operational excellence.
Guide colleagues through acquisitions, ensuring alignment with Gallagher’s values.
Build and maintain effective links with central functions and business partners.
Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
Work with BQA to implement audit-driven improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert in centralized activities.
Apply a strong understanding of Consumer Duty principles.
Commit to continuous learning and development.
About You:
Background in Insurance or Financial Services highly desirable.
Strong track record of delivering results in regulated environments.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to multitask, plan, and coordinate effectively in fast-paced settings.
A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and innovative thinking.
Technically proficient with the ability to navigate various internal systems.
