Expert Business Support Manager
Contract: 6 months
Key Expertise Required: Veeva Vault Clinical
The Role
We are seeking an Expert Business Support Manager with strong Veeva Vault Clinical expertise to join a global clinical operations environment. This role will play a critical part in supporting and enhancing systems that enable efficient study start-up, monitoring, clinical trial management, and eTMF activities.
You will work closely with cross-functional, global stakeholders to deliver impactful, business-critical solutions used across multiple functions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on global, cross-functional project teams, contributing to the development and optimization of clinical systems
- Compile and define user requirements to support system development and continuous improvement
- Develop deep expertise in relevant applications and advise on optimal usage across the organization
- Recommend and define business rules, system policies, and procedures
- Support system administration activities and coordination efforts
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation activities
- Contribute to quality checks, housekeeping, and ongoing system maintenance
- Develop and deliver system training and support sessions as required
- Partner with process experts to define and maintain the application feature roadmap
- Analyze reporting capabilities to support operational plan compliance
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for escalated system issues
- Identify opportunities for system and application enhancements through issue analysis

- Strong project management capabilities
- Broad understanding of global clinical operations processes and their translation into integrated IT solutions
- Proven experience working with Veeva Vault Clinical
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing business environment
- Strong technical and analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Experience collaborating in a global, multicultural, matrix organization
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact
- Comfortable working with limited supervision and accountable for developing project proposals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
