Description:

Managing & liaising with current suppliers. Being responsible for placing orders and managing the processes. Supporting operational supply chain using MRP System.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing of materials.
  • Preparation of supply chain documentation & quotations.
  • Supporting the Senior Buyer in selecting suppliers.
  • Daily review of MRP Systems.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships with the objective of developing Quality, Cost & Delivery performance.
  • Raise Purchase Orders in line with production requirements.

 

Professional Skills/Abilities:

  • Good communication skills with people at all levels
  • Computer literacy – good knowledge of Excel & Word essential and Access preferable
  • A working knowledge and use of ERP and MRP for BOM, scheduling, forecast analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
