Our Opportunity

As a Central Finance Support Officer, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day processing of financial transactions. Sitting within the Central Transactional Team, you will have responsibility for accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and transactions, including: raising and processing purchase orders; entering and processing invoices; checking supplier statements; setting up new suppliers; and entering various transactions into our finance system. You will support the team leader in checking payment runs, reclaiming VAT, assisting with internal and external audit queries, and improving coding accuracy across our schools. You will play a key role in providing financial support and advice to all schools within the trust.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, resilience and a proven track record of working in administrative finance setting.

GCSE Maths and English (or the equivalent) will be essential and experience of working within an educational setting though not essential would be beneficial.
