Chartered Building Surveyor

On behalf of our client, The Management Recruitment Group is seeking a Building Surveyor with a key focus on Dilapidations and Professional Services from a commercial background, to join a dynamic company recognised across Europe for its technical expertise and hands-on impact.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work alongside the director to manage the junior team members (graduates, chartered level surveyors) while also contributing to business development activities and foster strong client relationships
• Lead and deliver Dilapidations work across a range of commercial assets
• Manage and deliver a variety of professional services including, Contract Administration, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) as well as general technical due diligence and advisory tasks
• Work collaboratively across teams, maintaining flexibility and avoiding siloed working

You will need to be:

The ideal candidate is a Building Surveyor with solid experience in Dilapidations and wider professional services, gained within the commercial property sector. They should be confident managing their own workload, supporting junior team members, and engaging with clients. Professional, flexible, and collaborative, with good report-writing skills with experience in business development.

Background, Skills, and Qualifications:

• 10+ Years of experience in Building Surveyor with Dilapidations/Professional Services
• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS)
• 7+ Years of commercial property sector experience
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members (graduates, chartered surveyors)
• Client-facing experience with some involvement in business development
