1. The Business

My client are a boutique Independent Financial Advice firm based in Surrey. I have placed 5 staff into the business over the past 12 months. They offer whole of market advice on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT Planning, Trust Planning, Mortgages and some Protections. They have longstanding clients with approximately £300m AUM. Their clients are a mix of working professionals, wealth accumulators, business executives, retirees and HNW families. The business has no intentions of being acquired by a large national consolidator as they believe this is in the best interest of their clients.

2. The Role

My client is creating a brand-new role within the business for an established Financial Adviser with a background in an independent advice firm. You will have your Level 4 Diploma and ideally be looking to work towards your chartered status, this is not essential but is preferred. The successful candidate will be given 30 clients to manage in the first instance who are long standing and have considerable assets to be managed which more than covers an advisers’ salary (£500k+ per client). However, you will be expected to generate some new business and build the client bank through referrals and recommendations.
