YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIE

Purpose of Position

To contribute to the safe operational efficiency and effectiveness of the depots on time and in full targets by;

A: Carry out manual handling yard duties as required.

B: Carry out Fork Lift Truck duties as required.

C. Carry out safe handling and transfer of chemicals

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Receive deliveries of supplies and ensure safe handling and storage to laid down operational procedures;

Load vehicles of supplies and ensure safe handling and dispatch to laid down operational procedures;

Contribute to the safe handling and storage of chemical products to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements;

Build loads to meet customer orders, both manual handling and by fork lifted pallets;

Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the yard and warehouses;

Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by your line manager from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability.
