Insurtech Insights is seeking a Chief Editor to lead its flagship publishing operations and drive the creation of compelling, insightful content for the global insurance media sector. Based at the company’s HQ in London, this full-time, on-site role offers an exceptional opportunity to build one of the most influential brands within the Insurtech space.
The successful candidate will oversee the planning, development, and execution of industry-leading print magazines. This includes researching, interviewing, writing, editing, and coordinating with designers to produce high-quality editorial content that resonates with executives, entrepreneurs, and investors shaping the future of insurance.
As Chief Editor, you will be embedded in a dynamic, entrepreneurial team and collaborate directly with the CEO, gaining exposure to the operational mechanics of a fast-growing scale-up. This role is designed for someone who thrives under pressure, embraces creative responsibility, and is passionate about editorial excellence.
Lead the end-to-end editorial development of Insurtech Insights’ physical magazine.
Conduct in-depth industry research and develop timely and relevant story ideas.
Interview key players in the insurance and Insurtech sectors.
Write, edit, and proofread all editorial content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.
Collaborate with graphic designers to shape the visual identity of each magazine edition.
Maintain high editorial standards and ensure publication deadlines are met consistently.
Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic results in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in a magazine or media company, with a track record of excellence.
Strong command of written English with exceptional writing and editing abilities.
Ability to manage complex editorial workflows and prioritize tasks effectively.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
UK work permit is mandatory.
Must be available to work full-time on-site, Monday to Friday (remote work is not offered).
