This is a fantastic organisation with dedicated people that have a huge impact upon thousands of people across the UK, with a head office in Liverpool.

The Position

The Chief Executive will work effectively with the Board of Trustees to lead the charity during a time of change and challenge, and will be charged with taking a lead to ensure new income and funding is secured. They will provide strategic and operational leadership and be responsible for developing and delivering a Business Transformation Project Plan to meet set targets and timescales.

The Chief Executive will balance responsibilities and relationships both internally and externally to the organisation. Externally they will promote the organisation, pro-actively seeking out and securing opportunities for sponsorship, commissioned work and strategic partnerships to ensure a financially viable future.

Internally the Chief Executive will work effectively with the Board and Leadership team, ensuring the organisation is performing to adequately deliver the charity's aims, whilst maintaining a suitable balance between strategic and operational responsibilities.

The candidate

• Candidates must have a history of leading similar 3rd Sector organisations, with a strong commercial track record of securing funding and new income within the 3rd Sector.
• Relationship and People skills are paramount for this position, both internally and externally to the organisation
• The candidate must be able to 'hit the ground running' to deliver a Business Transformation Project Plan within a tight timescale
• This is an organisation with strong values based around Transparency, Inclusiveness, Empathy and Tenacity - and the Chief Executive must be a beacon of these values
• Candidates must be able to start ideally before end of April 2021, and be able to commit to a term of 6 months, with the possibility to be extended further
• Be able to travel to other sites in the UK if required

The position is based in Liverpool, with a hybrid of home and office working
