Chief Executive Officer

Description:

FG Capital Advisors is establishing a specialized Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to finance high-integrity carbon credit streams from nature-based and industrial decarbonization projects in emerging and frontier markets. As part of this initiative, the firm seeks a CEO (Designate) to initially support platform design, early-stage diligence, and investor engagement. This role will evolve into full-time CEO leadership following capital close.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational setup of the SPV, including development of the project pipeline, governance structure, and reporting mechanisms

• Manage origination, negotiation, and execution of carbon streaming agreements with developers and project sponsors

• Liaise with auditors and counterparties to maintain quality assurance and performance metrics

• Collaborate with managing partners to support investor engagement, including the creation of marketing and due diligence materials

• Recruit and manage a lean, highly effective execution team as the platform scales

Candidate Profile:

• Strong leadership and execution background in carbon or environmental finance

• Deep understanding of transaction structuring and execution risk management

• Able to operate in dynamic, international contexts and step confidently into a CEO role upon funding

• Strategic thinker with both commercial and impact-oriented mindsets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with SPV governance or fund operations

• Experience across emerging markets, particularly Africa, Southeast Asia, or Latin America

• Solid understanding of voluntary carbon markets and relevant standards
