Psicon Ltd, one of the UK’s largest providers of neurodevelopmental services, is seeking dedicated and qualified ADHD Nurse Assessors to join their Independent Clinical Network. This opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with neurodiversity, and who value commitment, trust, integrity, and kindness in their professional practice.

The role involves carrying out full ADHD assessments for children and young people aged 6–18 years, either face-to-face or remotely, ensuring adherence to NICE guidelines and clinical excellence. Successful applicants will be independent, confident, and highly skilled in providing accurate diagnoses and delivering sensitive feedback to families on the same day of the assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidelines for children and young people (6–18 years).

  • Communicate effectively with neurodiverse children, families, and both internal and external professionals.

  • Produce comprehensive and detailed clinical reports within agreed timelines.

  • Provide clear, compassionate, and professional feedback to families regarding assessment outcomes.

  • Maintain professional registration, mandatory training, and required supervision in line with NMC standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, or Learning Disability Nurse.

  • Significant experience in ADHD assessment and diagnosis.

  • Ability to work independently and manage face-to-face and/or remote appointments.

  • Strong communication, report writing, and clinical assessment skills.

  • Current NMC registration, revalidation, supervision, and indemnity insurance.

Additional Information:
