A newly renovated 2-bed children’s home in Leicester is looking for a passionate and dynamic Children’s Home Manager to lead its operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking care group at a critical time of expansion, with the vision and resources to open multiple new homes in quick succession.

As the Children’s Home Manager, you will have full operational autonomy to establish the home’s culture, build a high-performing team, and ensure high-quality care in line with Ofsted standards. This role not only offers a chance to create a nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) but also provides a defined pathway to an Operations Manager role within four years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and manage a 2-bed EBD children’s residential home

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a new staff team

• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all statutory requirements

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care for young people

• Develop and implement care plans that promote stability and emotional well-being

• Build a positive, supportive home environment that fosters growth and development

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step

• Thorough understanding of EBD care and children’s home regulations
