Children’s Minister

Description:

All Souls Church, Langham Place is seeking a committed and creative Children’s Minister to lead and develop its Children’s Ministry. This role focuses on nurturing children’s faith in partnership with parents, overseeing day-to-day operations, and coordinating closely with the parish’s 0-18 years old ministries. The Children’s Minister will manage and support a team of about 40 volunteers and collaborate with other church staff to implement a vision for youth and children’s engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the Children’s Ministry

• Recruit, train, and support a team of leaders and volunteers

• Support and equip parents in discipling their children

• Collaborate with the 0-18 parish ministries and 9.30 congregation team

• Participate fully in church life and contribute to shared ministry goals

• Plan, organize, and resource the ministry efficiently

• Engage with children and families effectively, fostering spiritual growth

Qualifications and Skills:

• Committed conservative evangelical Christian with a strong understanding of Scripture

• Proven experience in children’s ministry leadership and volunteer management

• Strong biblical teaching and training capabilities

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Understanding of child faith development is advantageous

Working Hours:
6 days per week, including Sundays, with flexible hours and some evening work
