Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential home providing both short breaks and full-time care for children with physical disabilities, associated learning difficulties, and sensory and health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of physical and emotional care.
- Develop and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
- Promote independence and empower children by offering choices and encouraging experimentation.
- Work collaboratively with children, their families, and professionals from various disciplines to meet each child's unique needs.
- Lead and inspire the staff team, ensuring high-quality supervision, training, and performance management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and safeguarding frameworks.
- Address and resolve any issues raised during inspections, audits, or complaints.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams in residential care.
- Comprehensive understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations and Safeguarding frameworks.
- Motivated, caring, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
- Enhanced DBS registered with the update service.
