A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd, representing an industry-leading civil engineering contractor with over 25 years of experience, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Enfield. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving or exceeding budgeted targets by identifying value engineering opportunities, alternative construction methods, and procurement efficiencies.

  • Support the preparation and submission of external valuations in line with contract terms to ensure timely payments and healthy project cash flow.

  • Aid in the preparation of monthly CVR reports to reflect accurate financial positions and projections.

  • Administer contract and subcontract terms, preparing timely contractual notices.

  • Price and agree Compensation Events promptly while maximizing entitlement.

  • Contribute to the procurement process by securing accurate supply chain orders and administering payment processes.

  • Accurately re-measure works and support final account agreements with both clients and supply chain partners.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders while delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Undertake additional duties as required by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Quantity Surveying within construction.

  • Relevant construction-related qualifications (HNC or above preferred).

  • Civil engineering sector experience desirable but not essential.

  • Strong industry knowledge with ability to meet strict deadlines.
