Key Accountabilities
- Support the scoping of change initiatives required for the Transformation Programme, working within the Business Analysis Framework
- Work with stakeholders at all levels within the organization to elicit, define and manage business requirements, ensuring clear end to end traceability.
- Ensure requirements are fully understood and approved by stakeholders, supporting Change Control and prioritisation.
- Experience and knowledge of Guidewire Claim Centre and / or other mainstream Claims platforms
- Support the development, systems testing, user acceptance testing and implementation of solutions by working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
- Learn from experiences and understand how benefits have been delivered by participating in retrospectives, lessons learned and knowledge share sessions
Essential Skills
- You'll be passionate about the BA role and will have worked on several change projects, utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience as a Business Analyst in the General Insurance Claims domain
- Able to elicit comprehensive requirements and achieve consensus from stakeholders using a variety of analysis techniques
- Solid experience in Agile and creating Epics and User Stories using Confluence and Jira
- Good understanding of Use Cases, Value Streams and Personas
- Can apply recognised industry standard modelling techniques including data modelling and BPMN
- Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- An agile mindset, with a flexible and adaptable approach to delivering against business priorities
- A Level education or equivalent
- Senior Business Analysts able to work autonomously with minimal day to day direction and to support more junior members of the team in their work
Desirable Skills
- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent
- Experience in Commercial General Insurance
- Experience in defining requirements for internal and external system integrations
