Haven is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Cleaning Services Manager to join their team at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in North Wales, a scenic location right by the beach with mountain views. This role places you at the forefront of delivering outstanding guest experiences through efficient cleaning operations, strong leadership, and exceptional attention to detail.
As the Cleaning Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a large cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service excellence across all accommodations and facilities. You will drive performance by providing clear direction, regular coaching, and hands-on support while also tackling challenges to ensure smooth operations. Guest satisfaction will be at the core of your role, ensuring every visitor enjoys a welcoming and comfortable stay.
You will oversee performance management, team scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will implement continuous improvement initiatives, ensure safe and compliant operations, and provide effective solutions to operational challenges. Training, development, and mentoring will also be key aspects of the role, helping team members achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and support the cleaning team to deliver exceptional results and meet set targets.
Ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and enhancing overall service quality.
Monitor and review team performance, offering constructive feedback and coaching.
Manage resources, including budgets, schedules, and equipment, to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, policies, and company standards.
Resolve operational challenges swiftly to maintain seamless day-to-day activities.
Drive staff training, career development, and progression opportunities.
Requirements:
Previous experience as Cleaning Manager, Housekeeping Manager, or similar role.
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing large teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety compliance and regulations.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Budgeting and financial management experience.
