Description:

Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is seeking a skilled Account Handler / Client Advisor to join a dynamic, independent insurance brokerage. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in managing corporate or mid-market clients who are looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a Client Executive, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and that all aspects of their insurance portfolios are handled efficiently and accurately.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of corporate and mid-market clients, ensuring seamless service delivery.

  • Work closely with a Client Executive to maintain and grow client relationships.

  • Prepare and process insurance documentation, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and quotations.

  • Utilize Acturis software for policy administration, documentation, and reporting.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for cross-selling and business development.

  • Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms, cover, and pricing on behalf of clients.

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with FCA regulations.


Requirements

  • Experience: 4–5 years in an account handling or client advisory role within the insurance sector.

  • Industry Expertise: Strong background in corporate or mid-market insurance cases.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Acturis software is essential.

  • Qualifications: Cert CII qualification (or currently pursuing it) is desirable.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.

  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.


Working Conditions

  • Location: Chelmsford preferred, but Ipswich or London offices available.

  • Hybrid Work Model: After a 3-month probation period, you’ll work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
