Description:

OpenText, a global leader in information management, is seeking a qualified Client Manager, Support Sales to join its Advanced Customer Services (ACS) team in Reading, UK. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a motivated sales professional who is passionate about digital transformation and customer success.

In this key client-facing role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and growth of ACS support programs that help customers effectively use OpenText’s software solutions. As part of a high-impact team, you will contribute to shaping the future of customer engagement by presenting value-driven solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent and promote OpenText’s ACS services, understanding client challenges and aligning solutions accordingly.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior decision-makers to increase satisfaction and drive loyalty.

  • Demonstrate deep product and service knowledge to communicate value propositions clearly and persuasively.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aimed at exceeding defined sales targets and expanding service adoption.

  • Conduct negotiations and successfully close sales agreements that align with customer needs and company objectives.

  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to identify and pursue growth opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activity, customer interactions, and opportunity pipeline.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the technology or enterprise software sector.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear and compelling way.

  • Demonstrated customer-centric approach with a deep understanding of client needs and solution selling.

  • Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate data and make data-driven decisions.

  • A team-oriented mindset, adaptable to dynamic environments, and goal-focused.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
