Description:
Gallagher Re is seeking a proactive and dynamic Client Service Advocate to join its UK team in Ipswich. This client-facing role places you at the heart of reinsurance operations, acting as the primary liaison across a varied portfolio to ensure seamless service delivery. From the placement of reinsurance programs to claims settlements, you will provide high-quality support across multiple classes of business. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining client satisfaction by coordinating query resolution, monitoring financial metrics, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient service outcomes.
As a Client Service Advocate, you will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of each client’s servicing requirements and collaborating closely with brokers, reinsurers, and processing teams. Your work will include preparing reports and management information, attending client meetings, resolving issues proactively, and supporting compliance with regulatory and internal standards. You'll operate in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and play a vital role in enhancing client relationships and ensuring service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact for clients, reinsurers, and internal teams for assigned accounts.
Understand client needs and service expectations, including reinsurance program specifics and placement coordination.
Ensure timely resolution of queries and management of all servicing requirements, including premium billing, claims, and pro-rata processing.
Monitor and report on program performance and financial metrics.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with brokers to ensure all developing issues are communicated and managed.
Attend client and reinsurer meetings when necessary and follow up on agreed actions.
Adhere to internal compliance processes and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
Working knowledge of reinsurance products and servicing processes.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize competing tasks.
Strong collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.
Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
