Clinical Psychologist

 

Description:


You will be joining a very experienced clinical team, first and foremost as a Clinical Psychologist, delivering specialist psychological assessments, advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care. However, you will be actively involved in strategic and service development as part of our clinical management team:
 

  • Clinical Responsibilities
    • Assessment and treatment of children and young people and/or families with mental health conditions and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
    • Carry out therapeutic work:
    • With children, young people and families using a variety of therapeutic models that might include CBT, Systemic and Psycho-dynamic.
    • With adoptive families/families subject to special guardianship orders, which includes therapeutic parenting work, individual therapy, and family work.
  • Management responsibilities
    • Act as a core member of the Child, Young People and Family Service at Psicon.
    • Actively support and drive change and service development with the management team at Psicon by designing and delivering robust clinical processes and systems to ensure governance and risk management standards are maintained.
    • Support the Psicon Clinical leadership Team to develop and maintain clinical standards across our services including the supervision of Associates Clinicians and our internal Assistant Psychologists Team.
