Clinical Psychologist

Description:

Psicon Ltd is seeking dedicated Clinical Psychologists to join their Independent Clinician Network. The role involves conducting high-quality assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD for children (3–18 years), young people, and adults (18+), following NICE guidelines and DSM-5 criteria. Candidates may also undertake ADOS assessments if ADOS-2 trained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive ASD developmental histories and ADHD assessments using preferred tools and methods.

• Observe and engage clients, asking age-appropriate and compassionate questions.

• Review ADOS reports, developmental histories, and collateral information from home, school, and observers.

• Formulate diagnoses, provide feedback to clients/families, and make recommendations and referrals as needed.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MDT) and offer follow-up sessions to conclude diagnoses when necessary.

• Produce detailed diagnostic reports within 48 hours post-assessment, with administrative support for formatting and quality control.

Requirements / Skills:

• HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.

• Expertise and confidence in ASD and ADHD assessments for children, young people, and/or adults.

• Familiarity with assessment tools such as Conners, ADI-R, DIVA-5, CAARS, and QB testing.
