UNSW Rural delivers world-class medical education to rural and regional Australia. This Education-Focused (EF) role is designed for academics who specialise in high-quality teaching. The Lecturer will contribute to the delivery of clinical skills and simulation teaching across all phases of the undergraduate medicine program at the Port Macquarie campus. The role involves mentoring students, facilitating practical classes, modelling best clinical practices, and developing scenario-based learning resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver integrated clinical skills teaching using high-fidelity simulation equipment

• Model clinical reasoning, communication, and patient-centered care during practical sessions

• Support the development of scenario-based learning resources and simulation cases

• Contribute to teaching across all phases of the undergraduate medicine program

• Engage students in small group learning and practical mentorship

Key Skills and Experience:

• BMedMD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree

• Current medical registration in New South Wales (AHPRA)

• Experience in clinical teaching, simulation, and scenario-based learning

• Strong mentoring, communication, and small group facilitation skills
