Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an existing band 7 or experienced band 6 to take up a newly developed role providing trust wide, on site leadership to clinical areas, predominately out of hours. The post holder will be the first point of contact for support and issues arising from clinical services out of normal working hours, will actively work with colleagues in identifying solutions to issues raised and escalate to the CSM on call when indicated. The post holder will work closely with CTM colleagues in providing 24 hour cover and providing an efficient handover, ensuring seamless 24 hour cover.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have extensive clinical experience across a range of mental health services and possess highly developed interpersonal skills. They must be able to communicate effectively on relevant clinical and operational matters with staff, service users and stakeholders throughout the Trust and in partner organisations. They will facilitate the building of supportive, trusting relationships with LYPFT colleagues and develop effective working relationships with other services external to the organisation assisting in the close liaise with primary care professionals, LTHT, third sector organisations and social services when necessary.
