As a Clinical Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the optometrist with diagnostic procedures, equipment setup, and customer care pathways. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer care throughout all care pathways.

  • Set up and operate diagnostic equipment, including digital imaging and OCT scan capture.

  • Perform visual field testing and pre-assessment procedures under optometrist supervision.

  • Explain each stage of the appointment to customers clearly and professionally.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.

  • Adhere to IPC and PPE guidelines for customer and staff safety.


Essential Skills:

  • Technically competent with good problem-solving ability.

  • At least six months’ experience as an Optical Assistant.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence to seek support when needed.
