Cloud Engineer

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience with Microsoft servers, database technologies and Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS capabilities. This fully remote role offers attractive salary of up to £50,000 and benefits.

As a flexible Cloud Engineer, you will work in a DevOps environment covering Microsoft deployments and 3rd line support queries. You will cover a mix of deployments from Azure migrations and tools, to O365 and Intune MDM.

In your first few weeks in this Cloud Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of their issues
• Track system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
• Talk to clients through series of actions via phone, chat, until they've solved a technical issue

To apply for this role you'll need experience working in a customer-facing environment. You'll also have:

• Demonstrable experience in a 3rd line support context covering Microsoft Cloud technologies
• Experience in monitoring, patching, change and escalations
• A proven track record of leading and mentoring on complex technical issues with junior colleagues
• Experience working in an Agile environment and executing Sprints
• Hands-on deployment experience
• A Microsoft certification across Azure, Azure data, O365, Endpoint Management or Work Space Management
