Description:

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions. This role involves strategic collaboration with senior leadership, driving cloud adoption and modernization, and supporting pre-sales engagements, bid management, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution & Architecture Design
- Define end-to-end cloud architectures aligning with business and technology objectives
- Develop strategies for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization
- Design and implement multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native architectures
- Provide architectural guidance on security, compliance, and governance
- Create digital roadmaps for long-term cloud transformation
Data Architecture & Management
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures
- Implement data cataloging and governance frameworks
- Define data security frameworks, including encryption, access control, and data masking
- Optimize cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., Azure CosmosDB, Neo4j Graph DB, Amazon RDS, Azure SQL, BigQuery, NoSQL)
Application Architecture & Security
- Architect microservices-based applications ensuring scalability and modularity
- Implement application security controls such as IAM, Zero Trust models, and API security best practices
- Support legacy application modernization transitioning from monolithic to cloud-native architectures
- Enable automated CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
Strategic Engagement & Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategies with cloud transformation
- Define security frameworks and compliance policies (GDPR, SOC2, NIST)
- Develop and execute cloud governance models
Pre-Sales & Bid Management
- Lead pre-sales engagements and technical proposal development
- Participate in bid management and RFP responses
- Develop ROI models and business cases for cloud adoption
Technical Leadership & Delivery Support
- Act as a technical mentor for development teams
- Oversee cloud security controls and incident response strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud architecture challenges
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Enterprise architecture experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Strong data modeling, governance, and security knowledge
- Experience in microservices, containerization, serverless computing
- Proficiency in CI/CD automation and application security
- Deep understanding of cloud compliance frameworks
- Certifications preferred:
- TOGAF Certification
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- SABSA (Security Architecture)
- Experience in Industry-Specific Cloud Solutions (e.g., Public Services, Utilities, and Energy)
- Knowledge of AI/ML & Big Data in cloud environments
