Commercial Finance Manager

SF Recruitment is exclusively partnered with a FTSE-listed hospitality company seeking a Commercial Finance Manager for an initial 3-month contract, starting 1st May. This is an urgent hire to support the Head of Finance during an internal restructuring period. The position is based in Central London with a hybrid work structure (2–3 days per week in-office). There is a possibility of extension based on performance and evolving team needs.

This role is ideal for a qualified and commercially-minded finance professional who is able to quickly understand and manipulate large data sets, deliver strategic insights, and communicate effectively across both finance and non-finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, offering timely insights to inform strategic decision-making

• Improve accuracy and efficiency in consolidated reporting, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet reviews

• Enhance capital investment and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with financial targets

• Deliver impactful financial analysis and cost-control strategies, contributing to business profitability

• Lead, support, and develop the finance team while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / CA / CIMA / ACCA)

• Proven experience working with large datasets and turning data into actionable insight

• Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities

• Solid technical accounting foundation

• Strong business acumen—able to interpret and explain financials clearly to non-finance stakeholders

• Excellent Excel/data manipulation skills
