Commercial Finance Manager

A globally recognised hospitality brand is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager for a newly created and high-impact position. This role sits at the heart of the business, providing an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to make a significant strategic and operational impact. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Finance, you will also work closely with the COO, Property Director, and the wider executive leadership team.

The Commercial Finance Manager will act as a senior business partner across key functions, driving value by delivering insight-led analysis, influencing high-level decision-making, and leading commercial initiatives that shape the future of the organization. This role will be central to major projects such as new openings, refurbishments, cost strategies, and performance improvement across the hospitality group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Operations and Property teams to evaluate and challenge investment decisions.

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring financial strategies align with growth objectives.

• Review and provide insights into CAPEX spend, restaurant P&Ls, and refurbishment strategies.

• Deliver commercial insight on leases, property investment, repairs & maintenance (R&M) strategies, and cost optimization.

• Manage performance-related frameworks, including bonus schemes and target setting.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, while working closely with C-suite executives.

• Provide critical commercial input on projects involving new openings and strategic initiatives.

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

• Strong commercial and analytical skillset, with advanced financial modelling capabilities.

• Confident in challenging, influencing, and partnering with senior stakeholders.

• Background in hospitality, retail, or other multi-site operations (essential).

• Proven success working in fast-paced, consumer-focused environments where adaptability and strategic thinking are key.
