Communication Manager

The Position

As our Communication Manager, you will support and enhance our corporate brand through internal and external communications. You will build strong internal networks among You will create effective, engaging, and inclusive communication strategies that support the business and build strong relationships with the media. You will manage reactive media responses and identify opportunities for proactive engagement to showcase Novo Nordisk’s expertise and leadership in obesity, all while maintaining and enhancing corporate brand recognition and reputation.

You will:

Drive and enhance network of media contacts and key stakeholders to improve our media coverage (reach, tone, and message pick-up), enhance our corporate reputation and deliver against our corporate vision and brand strategies.

Be responsible for building internal engagement and understanding of brand benefits, milestones, and performance, supporting colleagues in delivering effective brand messaging and communications.

Support the obesity business function, aligning and feeding into priorities and objectives, both externally and internally.

Participate in Global Communicators Network (GCN) to keep current on key projects and share best practice.

effectively managing external vendors/agencies to ensure the communications strategy and tactics are executed in a timely manner at a high quality.

Proactively identify any potential business opportunities and threats relating to your brands and developing corresponding action and communication plans, leading on the development of issues and communication strategies for brands

You are an ambitious communications professional with experience in stakeholder engagement, media, and public engagement, capable of building networks across the global business. You have experience managing business and digital communications channels, managing and sourcing external agencies/vendors, industry associations (ABPI) work groups, patient associations and patient advocates/bloggers.
