Main duties include

• Establish and build a great working relationship with local and regional media organisations, write press releases, and ensure regular coverage of my work

• Make a significant contribution to my social media and website presence and meet agreed targets to grow online engagement

• Take responsibility for the planning of impactful constituency visits and events

• Assist with diary management

• Proactively gather relevant information, be aware of constituents' concerns and find patterns of local or national issues to assist with developing campaigns and recommend appropriate campaign steps for Calum

• Undertake research and attend meetings as appropriate to develop my work

• Produce online graphics, videos and news alerts, etc. on my work

• Engage professionally, confidentially, with care and integrity with members of the public, through telephone enquiries, social media, emails, face to face, and to routine correspondence and enquiries from constituents, the media, lobbyists and pressure groups

• Work with colleagues and other relevant stakeholders to ensure I am well briefed prior to media engagement

• Assist with constituency meetings and surgeries, following up as appropriate
