Communications & Engagement Officer

Description:

The Communications and Engagement Officer’s primary responsibility is to support by leading on communications and engagement content and channels. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a library of resources for use both internally and externally, whilst ensuring NCF channels are effective and relevant. From briefing packs to podcasts, case studies to creative visuals, you will be instrumental in developing and evolving the NCF’s internal and external communications and engagement approach.

Content Creation

• Lead the creation of internal and external communications, digital and printed content
• Lead the development of case studies and storyboards
• Lead the co-ordination of a library of approved products
• Lead development of branding toolkits
• Convert complex information into simple and easy to understand visuals and language
• Record and edit video and audio
• Prepare presentations and workshops
• Create event material and support delivery
• Understand data proception, consent, copyright and intellectual property law around the use of case studies and third-party content.

Channel development

• Ensure channels are effective, inclusive and measurable
• Work with cross partnership and wider government teams
• Create and manage internal distribution networks
