Compliance Project Manager

JCW, a leading global recruitment firm specializing in risk, compliance, and governance, is seeking a Compliance Project Manager to join a prestigious client’s team in West London. This opportunity is suited for a results-driven professional with robust experience in managing compliance and operational projects across international business environments.

As the Compliance Project Manager, you will be entrusted with end-to-end delivery of a range of complex initiatives focused on compliance systems, third-party vendor oversight, internal policy alignment, and operational excellence. You will act as a central point of contact for UK and global stakeholders and ensure that all compliance and risk management efforts are aligned with evolving regulatory and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle management of compliance-related projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, execution, risk management, and post-implementation review.

• Oversee compliance systems and vendor relationships, ensuring quality delivery and accountability across project reporting and deliverables.

• Strengthen internal controls and assurance frameworks while championing continuous improvement across operational processes.

• Conduct detailed reviews and updates of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with both UK regulations and global corporate standards.

• Liaise and collaborate with international teams to manage and support compliance projects on a global scale, adapting delivery to various regulatory jurisdictions and business models.

• Track project progress using relevant tools, manage budgets and risk matrices, and ensure alignment of delivery with business objectives and compliance priorities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience leading complex compliance or operational projects from inception to delivery in a corporate or consultancy setting.

• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, internal controls, regulatory policy, and project governance best practices.

• Skilled in managing third-party vendors, software implementations, and change programs across large organizations.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities—comfortable navigating global time zones and working with cross-functional teams.

• Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in working independently in a high-responsibility environment.

• Must reside within a 30-minute commute of West London—this role requires full on-site presence (5 days a week).

• Must have valid right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this position.
