You could easily find yourself finessing car insurance quote-and-buy copy in the morning and helping to create brand campaign content in the afternoon. And you won't be fazed by either. Our team is part of a centre of creative and editorial excellence - driving copywriting standards using behavioural economics, UX and insights to create strategies that drive engagement and increase trading numbers. Plus, as architects of the new brand tone of voice, we're transforming how we write across the business. You'll be part of that drive, stepping up as an ambassador for our style and tone, and flying the flag for content as the essential ingredient of outstanding customer experiences. Skills and experience we're looking for: An experienced digital writer with proven expertise creating customer-facing content for any platform, format and audience. You'll have spotless English and an eye for design issues, too. Experience in designing, formatting and creating user-first, accessible content on webpages and in digital journeys. A thorough understanding of content design as a discipline, and its commercial impact through optimisation and simplification, is a prerequisite. Ability to work in squads with UX, design, SEO and social teams, applying your expertise and understanding of the different approaches and copy requirements each demands. Being able to organise and prioritise your work is essential. Amazing people skills, especially if you've got experience with senior stakeholders. You use data and insights to guide decision making, building customer-first plans having understood their needs. If something can be better, you'll know how and why to do it.
