Contracts Manager

Description:

JAM is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee and manage Fire Door projects within their growing team. This role is hybrid, requiring occasional travel for meetings, and offers the opportunity to work with a well-established and respected firm in the fire safety and construction industry.

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for developing specifications for outsourced services and ensuring all projects are effectively mobilized and strategically planned. You will manage and validate payment applications, oversee contractual compliance, and lead discussions and clarifications with stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll assist the commercial team with invoicing details, manage project budgets, and enforce best practices on-site, fostering a strong “right first time” culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project specifications for outsourced fire door services.

• Ensure proper mobilization and planning of all assigned projects.

• Validate and review payment applications to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain contract compliance and engage in contractual discussions with all relevant parties.

• Provide critical invoice information to support the commercial team.

• Manage project budgets and enforce quality and safety standards on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven background as a Contracts Manager in Fire Door-related projects.

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Carpentry.

• A clean UK driving licence.

• FIRAS or QMark experience (preferred but not mandatory).
