Conversion Rate Optimisation (cro) Manager

In Digital, recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™, is searching for a highly skilled CRO Manager to lead innovative optimisation strategies for globally recognised clients such as the Financial Times, The Independent, and Experian.

This role involves managing experimentation roadmaps, leading a growing team of CRO specialists, and designing impactful digital user journeys. As a key figure in the company’s optimisation offering, you will work cross-functionally with developers, UX designers, and strategists to deliver measurable improvements in conversion rates.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead testing strategies and CRO roadmaps for multiple clients across various sectors.

  • Use testing tools such as Optimizely, VWO, Piano, or Zephr to design, implement, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests.

  • Translate data insights using GA4 (Google Analytics 4, mandatory), Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Adobe Analytics.

  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX designers, and strategists to bring experiments to life effectively.

  • Coach and develop a team of CRO specialists, shaping the future direction of In Digital’s optimisation capabilities.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on experimentation and UX matters.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CRO or UX optimisation, preferably within an agency environment.

  • Strong proficiency in CRO testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).

  • Essential experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Adobe Analytics is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with confidence in interpreting data, statistics, and experimentation principles.

  • Excellent communication and client management skills.

  • Bonus skills: basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (support provided by front-end developers).
