At Parkdean Resorts, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, and that starts with the stories we tell. You’ll be collaborating closely with the Marketing, Creative and Online teams to develop copy that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives. The role involves:
- Developing a copy and tone of voice strategy that effectively communicates our marketing messages and aligns with our Brand Positioning and customer segments.
- Writing clear, concise, and compelling copy for a variety of marketing channels including social media, email, print and advertising.
- Working closely with the Online team to deliver integrated campaign copy, connecting our online messages and tone with our marketing messaging.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the Parkdean Resorts parks and customers to deliver informed, relevant and persuasive copy.
- Adapting writing style to suit different platforms, audiences and communications objectives while maintaining brand consistency.
- Edit and proofreading copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Staying up to date with industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to inform content development and ensure relevance and differentiation.
- Effectively managing and prioritising workflow of tasks to ensure all briefs are completed accurately and on time.
Some of the skills we’re looking for:
- Relevant degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter or content creator.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples across various channels.
- Creative flair, keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
