Copywriter Associate

Description:

Vestiaire Collective, a leading global online marketplace for pre-loved fashion, is looking to hire a Copywriter Associate for its Crawley warehouse team. Vestiaire Collective’s mission is to drive sustainability in fashion through a strong circular economy model, empowering its community to choose resale over new purchases.

As a Copywriter Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every product listed via the consignment service meets Vestiaire Collective's high standards of quality and presentation. This is a warehouse-based, full-time role with fixed hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including a 45-minute break.

You will handle product descriptions, perform quality checks, and ensure accurate representation of items online to help them sell faster. This role requires strong attention to detail, written communication skills, and a good understanding of fashion/textile terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

• Perform quality inspections on all consigned items and determine product condition

• Reject items that don’t meet quality criteria, both physically and digitally

• Conduct minor cleaning or touch-ups to improve item quality

Product Description:

• Write detailed and accurate descriptions, including measurements, composition, condition, and visible defects

• Use correct textile and brand-specific terminology

• Notify the photo team of any special attributes for product imaging

• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) stock organization

Comment & Listing Management:

• Review and respond to customer feedback

• Make requests for reshoots or listing edits as needed

• Request additional product photography if necessary

Administrative Tasks:

• Coordinate with business and photo teams to manage inventory flows

• Investigate anomalies and rejected products

• Assist with item returns and warehouse workflow as needed
