Corporate Tax Manager

Our West Kent based client is a specialist team of Tax Consultants and Chartered Accountants, who due to expansion and the continuing success of winning exciting, new clients are currently seeking a Tax Manager with experience of corporate tax to oversee a portfolio of clients from Owner Managed Businesses to UK corporate groups.

For the right candidate the possibilities are endless, with opportunities to grow quickly with the Firm and take on a more commercial role and contribute directly to the business growth.

You will manage a portfolio of clients and be the prime contact with these clients to provide technical advice, manage the work in progress and fees and identify further advice which would be of benefit to the clients.

Key areas of the role will include:

• Providing advice on a range of projects
• Management, review and preparation of corporate tax compliance
• Assisting with major tax advisory assignments
• Developing key client relationships and taking responsibility for fees
• Understanding the client’s business and helping to identify areas for the provision of tax advice
• Coaching and mentoring staff

To be considered for the position, applicants will likely be a fully qualified (CTA/ACA or equivalent) and commercially minded with the ambition and drive to advance their career with a firm that will truly recognise and reward outstanding contribution. In addition to this, experience leading and managing a small team of professional staff along with the ability to identify tax planning opportunities, would also be beneficial.
